As a sustainable, eco-friendly and 100% bio-degradable textile, jute and jute products have a wide variety of uses from food grade sacs, grocery and promotional bags, hotel and hospitality amenity packaging, floor coverings – rugs and carpets, home furnishings to industrial use soil erosion blankets, sandbags and soil savers.

The Jute Company provides retail, hospitality, industrial engineering and construction companies with a safe, chemical free, carbon saving alternative to plastic and man made products.

We are proud to be working globally with government and non government organizations, Not for Profit organizations, City Municipalities and a host of listed companies to supply an environmentally friendly, re-usable and natural substitute into our everyday lives.

As a manufacturing company we are one of the largest privately owned Jute textile and Jute product manufacturers in India. With new offices in London and Dubai to provide direct contact to buyers – we have since 1941 been leading the way for a greener and healthier environment by promoting the use of Jute as a natural, 100% biodegradable substitute to a variety of man made materials and everyday products.

Through 4 Jute mills, 1 Cotton Textile mill a 19,000, no child labour certified work force and fully integrated ISO 9001:2000 and independently ethically audited production plants; we are proud to be pioneers in the harvesting, production and conversion of one of our planets most ecologically safe materials. Our facilities produce over 450 metric tones of natural jute per day and over 2.75million bags per month - we are proud to be working globally with government and nongovernment organizations, Not for Profit organizations and City Municipalities. Alongside a host of supermarkets, retail, hotel and airline companies supplying eco-friendly, bio-degradable products throughout Asia, Europe and the MENA region.

The Jute Company has been created to specifically work on vertical integration for the development of raw jute to the manufacturing of quality products such as shopping bags and hospitality amenities. Our In-house finishing facilities: weaving, printing, stitching and dyeing – with no part of the manufacturing process outsourced, allows total quality control through all stages of design and production.

Quality control processes and the manufacturing environment across the group comply fully to International Standards for Good Manufacturing Practices and all our production facilities ensure that our products are able to be sold through the largest supermarkets, hypermarkets, home furnishing and DIY stores across the world.
